About us
Born out of
the fight.
Scythian was founded and staffed by professionals from the special operations and intelligence communities with decades of combat and operational experience. Most recently, rapidly evolving technology has transformed the battlespace, and the people using it have had to adapt quickly in cycles that can be weeks instead of months. To meet these challenges, Scythian has been forward at the point of friction, maintaining a persistent presence in Ukraine and other operational theaters to rush relevant technology and tactics forward to our allies.
End users. Advisors. Combat developers.
We understand what it takes to deploy a capability, employ it effectively, and turn a simple piece of equipment into meaningful battlefield impact. That understanding comes from being on the ground, working through the limitations, and seeing what makes a difference.
Our team brings experience from both the General Purpose Forces and Special Operations, with ground combat experience across the spectrum of mission profiles. We have served as end users and worked inside program offices, helping shape requirements from the start. Members of our team drafted the first dedicated precision strike requirement to emerge from USSOCOM, focused largely on tactical missiles and one-way attack drones. Today, we work as advisors and combat developers alongside leading companies across the defense industry.
We care about what happens after delivery.
That is where the mission gets supported, and where capability proves its worth.
Scythian brings that experience to the space between the people who build a capability, the governments that buy it, and the people who use it. We help those groups find common ground, build programs together, and carry the work through to operational impact.
That means staying involved: figuring out what is needed, where it comes from, and how to get it into the right hands. It means helping integrate capabilities into an effective system, and supporting the advisors and training that enable people to use it well.
